Insite US in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join a well-established practice. The role involves managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients, providing tax compliance and advisory support, and developing technical knowledge and career.

The successful candidate will have solid UK tax knowledge, experience across private client tax, and strong client management skills, with ATT/CTA or equivalent qualifications advantageous.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: £42,000-£48,000+ DOE

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join a well-established accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work closely with a broad client base, providing both tax compliance and advisory support while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and career.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment and other tax returns
• Advising clients on a range of UK tax matters
• Supporting with tax planning and advisory projects
• Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
• Building strong, long-term client relationships
• Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing their work
• Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments

We're looking for someone with:

• Strong experience within an accountancy practice
• Solid UK tax knowledge
• Experience across personal/private client tax
• Strong compliance experience alongside an interest in advisory
