Job summary

EY in the United Kingdom is seeking a Tax Senior to join the Financial Services International Tax and Transaction Services (FS ITTS) team. You will work with Banking, Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management clients, delivering high‑quality tax advisory services and developing your technical and leadership capabilities.

You’ll build strong client relationships, support complex tax projects, coach junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the FS ITTS practice while navigating UK and

Qualifications

• Experience as a tax practitioner, including experience reviewing the work of others.
• A relevant professional qualification such as ATT, ACA, CA or CTA, or equivalent breadth of knowledge, for example through a legal qualification.
• An undergraduate or postgraduate degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience working with financial services clients would be advantageous.
• Previous experience of managing or developing people.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional client service
• Support the successful delivery of tax advisory projects, combining technical excellence with a practical, commercially focused approach
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients, drawing on experience from other engagements, technical training and knowledge-sharing across the team
• Develop strong internal and external networks and build relationships across the wider business
• Support, coach and develop junior colleagues
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the FS ITTS team
