Joining a very high calibre tax team as a Tax Assistant, your duties in this role will include the following:

1. Completing personal tax returns
2. Completing CGT returns
3. Being a team player and supporting each other with queries, and other staff members with queries
4. Dealing with client post, ensuring letters are checked and clients are updated
5. Trust tax returns and annual declarations
6. Tax calculations
7. Overpayment relief claims
8. Communicating with clients, ensuring their requests are fulfilled, e.g., SA302/Tax year overview requests, repayment chasing

This role would suit an active ATT student, or alternatively a candidate with significant tax experience gained in a practice environment. Previous experience in a similar role is essential due to the technical demands of the role, and you will also need to demonstrate excellent client-facing skills.
