Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a TAS Associate Director to lead financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You will build senior client relationships, manage multiple accounts, and guide project teams through complex deals.

You will set fees, oversee budgets, and deliver high quality reports while developing staff and nurturing a wide external network. A professional qualification (ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA/CIPFA) and TAS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification required (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA).
• Experience in Transaction Advisory, ideally in financial services or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing engagements and complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Build and convert external network to originate TAS work.
• Own senior client relationships and manage multiple accounts.
• Assess and manage risk across complex transactions with specialists as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.
• Oversee end-to-end report production and ensure market context alignment.
• Set fee estimates and manage budgets for profitable delivery.
• Lead presentation of findings and recommendations to clients.
• Coach and develop managers and allocate resources effectively.
