Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is hiring a TAS Assistant Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services team. You’ll work on financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients, coordinating with the deal team, and delivering client-ready analyses and reports.

The role offers a hybrid working model with time split between offices and client sites, plus flexible working options. The minimum criteria include a professional qualification such as ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA.

Qualifications

• Must hold ACA/ICAS/CA/ACCA or CIPFA qualification.
• Experience in Audit or advisory services is preferred.
• Ability to apply commercial judgement and respect business context.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Be key to the preparation of the analysis and findings for the client deliverable.
• Work with the wider team on technical aspects of the transaction.
• Interpret and analyse complex information, frequently in excel, identifying business issues and applying technical knowledge appropriately.
• Support with the presentation of conclusions and recommendations to the client both graphically and through concise written English, as well as verbally discussing the implications and action points.
• Take a proactive interest in your own performance as well as the performance of the wider team.
• Consult effectively in relation to risk management, supporting a risk management culture within the team.
