As Team Manager, you will lead a dedicated group of practitioners who are passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives. Together, you will empower young people to have a voice in shaping services, create opportunities that support personal development and education and contribute to reducing risks associated with serious youth violence, exploitation and anti-social behaviour

About You

You will be an experienced manager with a strong understanding of contextual safeguarding, serious youth violence, early help services, community safety. You will bring substantial experience of managing projects, programmes, staff and complex case management systems, alongside a proven ability to work effectively with statutory, business and voluntary sector partners.

To be successful, you will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, combined with effective people management and coaching abilities. You will be highly organised, self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure. Educated to degree level (or able to demonstrate substantial relevant experience), you will be passionate about achieving positive outcomes for young people and supporting teams to deliver outstanding services. An Enhanced DBS check with Barred Lists will be required for this post.
