Job summary
CCL Global is seeking an experienced TAR E&I Engineer for an immediate contract in Hull, supporting planning and delivery of Electrical & Instrumentation activities during a major Turnaround in a high-hazard COMAH environment.
The role requires a degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering with 10+ years in chemical/petrochemical settings, plus hands-on experience with SIS, LOPA and functional safety, and strong contractor coordination. Immediate start.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
- Around 10+ years' experience in chemical or petrochemical industries.
- Proven COMAH/high-hazard process plant experience.
- Experience delivering major TAR I&C/E activities.
- Strong E&I design, implementation and commissioning background.
- Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and functional safety.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop and implement major TAR E&I activities.
- Coordinate Electrical & Instrumentation during turnaround/shutdown.
- Support E&I maintenance and modifications in chemical environments.
- Manage E&I activities from design to commissioning.
- Work with SIS, LOPA and functional safety systems.
- Coordinate contractors and ensure safe, efficient delivery.
- Support TAR planning, scheduling, resources and budget control.
- Ensure compliance with COMAH, HSE and UK/EU legal requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and maintain high E&I best practices.
- Support successful delivery and close-out of TAR activities.
