Job summary

Rullion is seeking an EC&I Technician to join a major UK energy generation environment. You will perform hands-on EC&I maintenance, support critical infrastructure, and contribute to strategic projects within a permanent role.

The role requires experience in CCGT or large-scale process industries, HNC qualification, and strong safety and contract-management awareness. Competitive salary and benefits are offered, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in CCGT plant maintenance or large-scale process industry.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification is desirable.
• Strong team working skills and budget/contract awareness.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety.
• Prepare and manage contracts in support of station operations.
• Act as Competent Person or Authorised Person under Safety Rules.
• Perform hands-on maintenance on EC&I equipment and systems.
• Supervise contractors and personnel during plant overhauls.
• Apply proactive fault diagnosis and problem solving; support Process Safety KPIs.
• Maintain interfaces with suppliers and stakeholders; produce written reports.
