Job summary

INEOS Grangemouth seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support asset integrity and deliveries. You will coordinate TAR/outage electrical scopes, develop work packs, and provide commissioning input.

The role requires knowledge of ATEX/DSEAR, UPS systems, and UK standards, with an emphasis on safety and reliability. The successful candidate will have a degree in electrical engineering, be chartered or progressing, and hold a full UK driving license, contributing to multi-discipline projects

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working to achieve chartered status.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in a technical role in Oil and Gas environments.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment in ATEX/DSEAR and UK standards.
• Experience with UPS systems (AC/DC) and power systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset and protective systems integrity on INEOS FPS assets.
• Lead electrical scopes for TAR/Outage with safety and schedule focus.
• Develop work packages and act as accountable engineer for electrical scopes.
• Support planning, commissioning, and on-site electrical commissioning.
• Lead safety reviews, RCFA, and MOC documentation for electrical tasks.
