Job summary

GAP Hire Solutions based at our Glasgow Head Office is seeking a proactive Logistics Planner to join the Tanker Services team. You will support day-to-day planning of tanker routes across the UK, liaising with Depots and drivers to ensure work is completed to GAP processes and quality standards, while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and work to deadlines, and proficient Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Previous logistics planning experience in a busy distribution environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work to a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Plan tanker services routes across the UK.
• Liaise with Depots and Tanker drivers to follow GAP processes.
• Provide updates, resolve queries and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to management and customers.
