Job summary

GAP Group is seeking a proactive Logistics Planner to join the Tanker Services team at our Glasgow head office. You’ll support daily planning of tanker routes across the UK, liaising with depots and drivers to ensure timely execution while delivering excellent customer service.

You will provide updates to customers, handle queries, and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports for senior management, helping maintain smooth operations in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Previous logistics planning experience in a busy distribution environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Plan tanker services routes and coordinate with depots and drivers.
• Process sales orders and service planning to deadlines.
• Provide updates to customers with professional telephone support.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management.
