Attega Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced HGV Drainage Engineer for a full-time permanent night shift position covering Dartford, Rainham and surrounding areas. You will operate HGV tankers for planned maintenance and emergency responses, with overtime available and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• At least a year’s experience in the drainage industry.
• Class 2 licence minimum.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Willingness to stay away nights (once or twice per month).
• Experience on commercial sites and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate an HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
• Maintain the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
• Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation.
• Work with an assistant to feed back information to the office.
• Support CCTV & Drainage teams on surveys, inspections and investigations.

We are currently recruiting for HGV Drainage Engineers to join their team.

The main purpose of this HGV Drainage Engineer role is to operate the HGV’s visiting various client sites within and around the area, conducting pre-planned maintenance and emergency response works.

In return, we are offering a salary of £48,100 P/A, with an average OTE of £60,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.

Reporting to the Operations Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Operating an HGV tanker to carry out pre-planned maintenance works.
• Maintaining the vehicle and equipment to the best condition.
• Vacuum tanker operations and wastewater management.
• Adhering to all health and safety policies at all times, following safety protocols for HGV drainage tanker operation
• Working with an assistant, ensuring all information is fed back correctly to the office.
• Supporting the CCTV & Drainage teams supporting and facilitating Surveys, inspections and detailed investigation work.

The ideal candidate has experience in:

• At least a years’ experience in the drainage industry.
• Class 2 license minimum.
• Problem solving and attention to detail is a must
• Candidate must be flexible a role will include frequent staying away and night work (Once or twice per month – one week at a time)
• Experience working on commercials sites
• Good communication skills
