You’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring the smooth coordination, tracking, and planning of specialist tank equipment that keeps international supply chains moving.

Why this role matters

As a Tank Logistics Planner, you’ll be the link between strategic planning and real-world logistics, managing tank assets from the moment they’re cleaned and certified to the second they’re deployed to meet customer demand. You’ll liaise with local planning teams, freight partners, and service stations to ensure everything runs like clockwork. Safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively.

About the role:

Monitor real-time tank locations, usage, and certification, schedule cleanings to prevent cross-contamination and meet operational needs.
Work with planning teams, logistics providers, and cleaning stations to match assets with demand across multiple regions.
Build strong relationships with shipping lines, rail freight, and service partners to keep operations seamless.
Ensure tanks are matched to product and pressure requirements, upholding all safety and compliance standards.
Support P&L performance, contribute to strategic planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

About you:

Experience in asset or equipment planning, ideally tanks or other specialist logistics assets.
Strong problem-solving skills and calm decision-making under pressure.
Meticulous organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communicator, confident working with internal teams, drivers, and external partners.
Commercially aware with good IT skills (MS Office and database systems).
