Job summary

AMS is partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to hire an experienced AI & Data Talent Sourcer. This strategic sourcing role focuses on AI, ML, Data Science and related technology markets, building pipelines and market intelligence.

As part of a global recruitment team, you’ll use LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced search techniques, engage passive candidates, and collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sourcing or talent research.
• Experience sourcing AI/ML/Data Science talent.
• Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search capability.
• Experience with market mapping and talent intelligence.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage senior-level candidates.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain talent pipelines across AI, ML, Data Science and related tech disciplines.
• Identify, engage and attract passive talent through targeted sourcing strategies.
• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to provide insights on talent availability and trends.
• Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search to uncover hard-to-find talent.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand priorities and craft sourcing plans.
• Act as a trusted advisor with market intelligence and challenging thinking where appropriate.

• Maintain accurate candidate records and pipeline data.

We're partnering with a leading global financial services organisation to hire an experienced AI & Data Talent Sourcer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly collaborative global recruitment team focused on identifying and engaging top talent across Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and wider technology markets.

Working closely with recruiters and hiring stakeholders, you'll play a key role in building talent pipelines for some of the most in-demand skillsets in the market. This is a strategic sourcing role with a strong focus on talent intelligence, market mapping and proactive headhunting rather than traditional advert-led recruitment.

This is a 3-6 month FTC opportunity operating on a hybrid basis, with 1 day per week required in the AMS Belfast office. You will also be supporting US hiring and will be required to work US hours shifts.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll be doing

• Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities and build effective sourcing plans.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing market intelligence and challenging thinking where appropriate.
• Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists for specialist and niche technology roles.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and talent pipeline data.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across a global recruitment function.
• Support strategic hiring initiatives within the rapidly evolving AI and Data landscape.

Skills & Requirements

Must haves:

• Proven experience in technical sourcing or talent research.
• Strong experience sourcing talent within AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics or broader technology markets.
• Advanced LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search capability.
• Experience conducting market mapping, talent intelligence and competitor research.
• Demonstrated success engaging passive candidates in highly competitive talent markets.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Confident communicating with senior and executive-level candidates.
• Naturally proactive with a talent for uncovering and engaging hard-to-reach talent.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Nice to haves:

• Agency recruitment or agency sourcing experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale technology hiring programmes.
• Exposure to financial services, investment banking or corporate technology environments.
• Experience working in fast-paced, consultative talent acquisition teams.
