Job summary

Verity Healthcare Limited is hiring a Recruitment Assistant to join our Leyton-based team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will manage a caseload across child, young person and adult packages and support the end-to-end recruitment process.

You'll source candidates, screen applications, coordinate interviews and handle onboarding with our recruitment colleagues. A proactive, well-organised approach and strong communication skills are essential to deliver a smooth candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Confident and professional when communicating with candidates.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable speaking to people over the phone.
• Proactive and motivated to achieve recruitment targets.
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using computers, email and Microsoft Office.
• Interested in developing a long-term career in recruitment.
• Desirable experience in recruitment, sales, customer service or administration.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and other recruitment channels.
• Generate candidate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential applicants.
• Review applications and CVs against role requirements.
• Maintain candidate records using ATS.
• Contact candidates by phone, email and other communication channels.
• Arrange and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Create and post engaging job adverts across recruitment platforms.
• Support recruitment campaigns and social media activity to attract suitable candidates.
• Assist with onboarding and pre-employment checks where required.
• Keep recruitment records and documentation accurate and compliant.
• Track candidate activity and recruitment progress.
• Provide general administrative support to the recruitment team.
