Job summary

Think Specialist Recruitment seeks a Talent Scout in Hemel Hempstead to identify and sign top creators across modelling, music and influencing. You’ll win over talent via direct outreach, pitches and warm introductions, building relationships with agencies and networks to grow a creator roster.

You’ll operate in a fast-moving, sales-oriented environment, with two salary paths: £25k+ plus commission or £40k+ with no commission, based from our client’s Hemel Hempstead HQ.

Qualifications

• Natural networker with proven prospecting ability.
• Existing network in modelling or music sectors is a plus.
• Experience in sales, business development, account management, talent management or influencer partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram.
• Commercially minded with a target-driven approach.
• Organised with the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline.

Find, approach and sign new creators from the modelling and music worlds for a fast-growing, award-winning management agency. Please note, this is a sales and networking role, not an in-house recruitment role.

Think Specialist Recruitment are working with a well-established, award-winning client. They are a leading management agency for social media creators, specialising in TikTok, and are growing rapidly. As the business expands, they are now looking for a Talent Agent to join the team and drive the growth of their creator roster.

This position will be based out of our clients new Hemel Hempstead HQ. Two salary package options are available:

• Basic salary from £25k and above - plus an attractive commission structure, with earnings driven by the talent you sign
• Fixed salary from £40k upwards with no commission

The Role:

• Proactively scout and sign high-potential creators, including models, musicians, influencers, content creators and emerging talent
• Find talent through TikTok, Instagram and other platforms, creator communities, referrals and direct outreach
• Build relationships with modelling agencies, talent agencies, music industry contacts and creator networks to create new sources of talent, and draw on your existing network where you have one
• Pitch the opportunity of building a career as a creator and convert prospects into signed talent
• Run introductory calls, meetings and auditions, assessing personality, confidence, presence and audience potential
• Manage your own pipeline from first contact through to onboarding, hitting sign-up targets
• Work with the Creator Management team to hand over new creators smoothly
• Track results and work out which outreach channels and approaches perform best
• Keep up with social media and creator trends to spot new talent early

About You:

• A natural networker and confident communicator, comfortable approaching people cold and building rapport quickly
• An existing network or contacts within modelling or music (such as agencies, managers, artists, promoters or models) that you can introduce to the opportunity
• Experience in a sales, business development, account management, talent management, influencer marketing, modelling, music or creator partnerships environment, with a track record of winning people over and hitting targets
• Strong understanding of social media and creator culture, particularly TikTok and Instagram
• A good eye for personality, presence and potential
• Commercially minded and target driven, with the motivation to earn through results
• Organised enough to manage a high-volume pipeline and keep accurate records
• Creative about finding new ways to reach and attract talent
• Happy working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
