Job summary

VolkerStevin is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor to support the delivery of our people strategy. You will work closely with our Learning & Development Business Partner and HR team to shape talent, engagement, development and culture across the business.

The role covers talent management, employee engagement and development programmes, with opportunities to influence apprenticeships, graduates and early careers, while delivering insightful reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development, HR, Talent or related people-focused roles.
• Ability to analyse data and generate meaningful insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Organised and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support talent and succession planning activities across the business.
• Help identify high-potential employees and development opportunities.
• Assist with the development of career pathways and progression opportunities.
• Monitor talent outcomes and provide insight to support future development initiatives.
• Support engagement surveys and action planning activities.
• Analyse feedback, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with employee recognition, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
• Help promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Support the delivery of learning, leadership and management development programmes.
• Identify capability gaps and development needs.
• Assist with apprenticeship, graduate and early career initiatives.
• Evaluate learning activities and support continuous improvement.
• Support the delivery of people and learning-related projects.
• Assist with the implementation of new frameworks, programmes and processes.
• Produce reports, dashboards and people insights relating to engagement, talent and development activity.
• Use data to support recommendations and inform decision-making.
