Job summary

VolkerStevin is seeking a Learning & Development Advisor to support the delivery of our people strategy within the VolkerWessels UK Group. You will work closely with the Learning & Development Business Partner and HR team to shape talent, engagement, development and culture across the business.

This role offers the chance to develop specialist expertise while contributing to initiatives that improve people and business performance.

Qualifications

• Experienced within Learning & Development, HR, Talent or a related people-focused role.
• Passion for employee development and engagement.
• Comfortable analysing data and producing meaningful insights.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communicator who builds effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Interested in developing expertise in talent management, organisational development and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Support talent and succession planning activities across the business.
• Help identify high-potential employees and development opportunities.
• Assist with the development of career pathways and progression opportunities.
• Monitor talent outcomes and provide insight to support future development initiatives.
• Support engagement surveys and action planning activities.
• Analyse feedback, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with employee recognition, wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
• Help promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Support the delivery of learning, leadership and management development programmes.
• Identify capability gaps and development needs.
• Assist with apprenticeship, graduate and early career initiatives.
• Evaluate learning activities and support continuous improvement.
• Support the delivery of people and learning-related projects.
• Assist with the implementation of new frameworks, programmes and processes.
• Produce reports, dashboards and people insights relating to engagement, talent and development activity.
• Use data to support recommendations and inform decision-making.
