Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is a UK civil engineering and construction contractor seeking a senior people development professional to translate strategy into practical action. You will build strong relationships and deliver development initiatives to support current performance and future growth.

Lead talent management, design learning solutions, drive leadership development, and support early careers across multi-site operations, using data and external thinking to raise outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in talent management, learning and development, or a similar people development role.
• Strong experience of delivering development programmes in a complex or multi-site organisation.
• Knowledge of succession planning, employee engagement and early careers development.

Responsibilities

• Lead talent management, succession planning and development activity across VolkerFitzpatrick.
• Design learning and development solutions that support engagement, retention and future capability.
• Drive manager, leadership and future talent development programmes.
• Support the early careers agenda, including apprentices, graduates, industrial placements and new entrants.
• Oversee employee engagement activity, including survey outputs and action planning.
• Use data, insight and external thinking to improve talent, learning and development outcomes.
