Job summary

Bilfinger UK is recruiting an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of learning, development, skills and competency initiatives across the UK business (c. 4000 employees).

You will manage a small team across two sites and own the UK skills and competency framework for all staff, including blue-collar and office personnel. The role also covers supporting bids and tenders from a workforce capability perspective and representing

Qualifications

• Significant Learning & Development experience
• Competency framework management experience; experience supporting operational and site-based workforces
• LMS experience
• Strong CIPD qualification or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Deliver, coordinate and continuously improve learning, development, skills and competency initiatives across the UK business (c. 4000 employees)
• Manage a small team across 2 sites; own UK learning and development strategy and competency frameworks for all staff
• Support bids and tenders from a workforce capability perspective and provide data-driven insights
• Represent Bilfinger externally in learning and development networks and industry forums
• Ensure learning systems, data reporting and compliance are maintained (LMS, reporting, governance)
• Drive leadership development and succession planning through structured programs
