Job summary

The North East Combined Authority is seeking a Talent Engagement Coordinator to join the People and Culture team, coordinating end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to deliver a positive candidate experience.

You’ll manage campaigns from vacancy approval through to onboarding, support pre-employment checks, maintain recruitment systems, and build strong relationships with candidates, managers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative, coordination or customer-focused role.
• Experience managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR or People & Culture environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment campaigns from vacancy approval through to appointment.
• Prepare recruitment documentation, candidate communications and interview materials.
• Support pre-employment checks, offers and onboarding to ensure new colleagues are ready to join.
• Maintain accurate recruitment systems, trackers and management information.
• Produce recruitment reports and support service improvement activity.
• Build strong working relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues across the organisation.
