Job summary

Capital in London (UK) is seeking an experienced Talent Development/ Early Career Programs Manager to oversee rotational programs and internships. You will coach associates through rotations, design meaningful opportunities with business leaders, and drive long-term placement outcomes.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition, HRBP, and Learning & Development to shape the enterprise talent pipeline and onboarding initiatives, influencing workforce planning in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in talent development, talent management, learning and development, recruiting, human resources, program management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing, coaching, and developing early-career talent through internship, rotational, leadership development, or comparable programs.
  • Track record of providing meaningful coaching, feedback, and career guidance.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and managers to identify development opportunities, assess talent, and support workforce planning decisions
  • Participation in recruiting efforts, including candidate assessment, interviewing, selection, and offer discussions
  • Comfortable facilitating performance reviews, calibration discussions, and talent assessment processes
  • Experience designing, managing, or improving learning, development, or talent programs
  • Strong collaboration and partnership-building skills across Talent Acquisition, HR, Learning & Development, and business teams
  • Ability to balance strategy and execution and translate business needs into scalable talent solutions
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement mindset using data, feedback, and insights to enhance programs and outcomes
  • Strong judgment, communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, highly matrixed environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the direct manager for associates participating in Capital's Early Career programs
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and career development throughout associates' rotational experience
  • Partner with business leaders to design meaningful rotation opportunities
  • Oversee associate performance and development
  • Facilitate successful long-term placement outcomes
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, HR Business Partners, and business stakeholders
  • Execute internship programs and rotational assignments
  • Support onboarding and learning and development initiatives
  • Plan full-time placement
  • Shape Capital's enterprise talent pipeline
