Job summary

Lincoln Performing Arts Centre is seeking a Talent Development Coordinator for a 24-month fixed-term, 22 hours per week role in Lincolnshire. Salary starts at £28,031 pro rata.

The role focuses on creating pathways into creative careers across Greater Lincolnshire through apprenticeships, mentoring and careers events. You will coordinate a network of employers, educators and cultural organisations, supporting inclusive access and regional talent development.

We're looking for a Talent Development Coordinator, with a salary from £28,031 pro rata. Please note, this post is fixed term for 24 months and part-time at 22 hours per week.

About the role

Routes In – Greater Lincolnshire Place Partnership is a major three-year programme funded by Arts Council England. Working with local authorities, employers, schools, colleges, universities and cultural organisations, we’re creating clearer, fairer and more accessible routes into creative careers.

You’ll be helping to build the creative workforce of the future.

From coordinating apprenticeships and mentoring programmes to bringing employers together through a county‑wide Creative Careers Network, you’ll play a central role in creating opportunities for people across Greater Lincolnshire.

No two days will be the same. One day you might be supporting an emerging creative starting their first apprenticeship, the next bringing together arts organisations and industry leaders to shape regional skills priorities, or delivering a county‑wide careers event that inspires the next generation.

Routes In – Greater Lincolnshire Place Partnership is funded by Arts Council England and delivered by the University of Lincoln in partnership with local authorities, education providers, employers and cultural organisations across Greater Lincolnshire.

Together we’re creating apprenticeships, mentoring, careers support, leadership development, employer networks and sector‑wide collaboration to ensure creative careers are visible, accessible and achievable for everyone.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll coordinate the delivery of the Routes In programme across Greater Lincolnshire, working with colleagues across the University and a wide range of external partners.

Your work will include:

• Coordinating five creative apprenticeships and supporting both apprentices and placement hosts
• Developing mentoring, employability and leadership programmes
• Organising careers events, networking opportunities, conferences, workshops and creative careers surgeries
• Building and coordinating the Greater Lincolnshire Creative Careers Network
• Supporting the Greater Lincolnshire Culture Alliance and its partnership activity
• Managing programme plans, reporting, evaluation, governance and Arts Council England requirements
• Developing resources that help people understand creative career pathways
• Working with our marketing team to promote opportunities and celebrate impact
• Building strong relationships with employers, educators, local authorities and cultural organisations
• Championing inclusive practice and ensuring opportunities reach communities currently underrepresented within the creative industries.
