Yorkshire Housing is seeking a Talent and Resourcing Advisor to transform how recruitment feels for candidates and hiring managers. You will shape attraction plans, build proactive pipelines and use data-driven insights to guide hiring decisions across customer experience teams.
You’ll partner with managers to design fair, inclusive assessments, support internal mobility, and strengthen routes for progression.
We’re not looking for someone to just fill jobs. We’re looking for someone to change how recruitment feels. We’re looking for a Talent and Resourcing Advisor who can help us find top tier people and make the journey feel brilliant for candidates and hiring managers too. This isn’t recruitment on autopilot. It’s talent and resourcing with curiosity, pace, data, creativity and a healthy dose of "why don’t we try this?".
You’ll work across a mix of roles, with a real chance to shape how we attract and hire great people into our customer experience teams – the people supporting our customers every day. We want someone who can look beyond filling vacancies and help us build better pipelines, sharper attraction plans, fairer assessments and stronger routes for people to move, grow and progress across Yorkshire Housing.
You’ll be the person managers come to when they need more than a shortlist – they need insight, challenge and a proper plan.
You’ll also have space to think ahead, not just who do we need now, but who might we need next, and how could we build, buy or borrow the skills we need.
You’ll know recruitment and resourcing, but what will really excite you is the move towards broader talent thinking – seeing how attraction, assessment, onboarding, internal movement and retention all connect across the colleague journey.
It would also help if you’ve worked on attraction plans, inclusive assessment methods, talent pipelines, internal mobility, career pathways, employer brand activity or high-volume recruitment.
£37,002 a year for 35 hours a week
And because this role is about more than keeping the recruitment wheels turning, you’ll also get the chance to influence how we think about talent, mobility, progression and future capability across Yorkshire Housing.
In short: you’ll get the benefits, the backing and the opportunity to make a real mark.
Now you’re really interested? At YH, we’re actively building a working environment that’s inclusive as well as diverse, where everyone can contribute their best work and be themselves.
We believe difference is what makes us stronger and recognise the importance of our teams reflecting communities we serve, so we welcome and encourage candidates from all backgrounds for this role.
We know that not all candidates will meet every single requirement. If your experience looks a little different from what we’re looking for and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you.
The fine print.
Closing date: 14.10.26 (we may close early if we get lots of great candidates!)
If you’re applying for this role internally, you must inform your current line manager (it’s the right thing to do!).
