Job summary

CN is seeking a driven Recruitment professional to attract and hire top talent across North America, ensuring candidate engagement throughout the lifecycle from posting to onboarding. You will partner with hiring managers to align on market trends and hiring needs, and drive diverse, inclusive candidate pipelines.

The role emphasizes proactive sourcing, interviews, offers, and adherence to corporate policies while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent; practical experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years of recruiting experience in transportation or trade-based environments.
• Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full life-cycle recruitment for requisitions across North America, including job postings, sourcing, resumes, pre-screening, interviews, and pipeline tracking.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process and manage job offers and negotiations.
• Maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Build collaborative relationships with hiring managers and HR teams; share market trends and provide recommendations.
• Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines; source candidates via databases, direct sourcing, vendors, and referrals.
