Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing HR team, based in Luton. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract high-quality talent across a variety of roles, from frontline operations to corporate functions. Your ability to source strategically, engage candidates, and partner with stakeholders will be key to building a high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy & Execution
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop tailored recruiting strategies for logistics, warehousing, transportation, and support roles.
  • Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
  • Use job boards, social media, career fairs, and employee referrals to build talent pipelines.
  • Proactively source passive candidates and maintain a database of qualified talent for future needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and hiring timelines.
  • Provide consultative support on job descriptions, compensation benchmarks, and interview best practices.
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
  • Ensure a positive candidate journey from first contact through offer acceptance.
  • Promote JD Logistics' employer brand through external channels and recruitment events.
  • Metrics & Compliance
  • Track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rates, and source effectiveness.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are compliant with local labor laws and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or high-volume environments.
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for logistics/warehouse or high-volume blue-collar roles.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse, Workday, or SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Understanding of labor market trends and workforce planning principles.
