This role is ideal for someone who is confident managing end‑to‑end recruitment across a wide range of disciplines: from unskilled and skilled operational roles, to engineering, technical, professional services and other business‑critical vacancies. If you enjoy building strong partnerships, delivering a great candidate experience and adapting your approach to different types of hiring needs, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing
System & Process Governance

Candidate Screening & Management
  • Review CVs and conduct initial screening where appropriate. Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication throughout the process. Maintain compliant, accurate candidate records. Monitor application progress and support candidate system access when needed.
Direct Sourcing & Talent Pipelining
  • Use a range of sourcing tools, talent pools, job boards and networks. Build and nurture pipelines across diverse role types and future workforce requirements. Engage passive talent to support long‑term attraction and strategic hiring.
What you’ll bring
  • Proven experience recruiting across a range of role types (e.g., operational, technical, engineering, corporate, professional).
  • Ability to adapt sourcing and engagement strategies based on the role discipline and its complexity.
  • Experience with Workday or similar ATS platforms.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with polished written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies at different stages with ease.
  • Rail experience is desirable but not essential.
Benefits
  • 33 days paid annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays.
  • Arriva Workplace Pension Plan (AWPP)
