Job summary

Instant Impact is seeking a Talent Acquisition Director to lead a large-scale embedded partnership in the industrial and engineering space. You will own delivery, client relationships and growth while managing a TA Leads and TA Partners team, with hybrid UK-based work and regular client site visits.

The role combines strategic talent leadership with hands-on execution, including on-site assessment centres and executive outreach, to scale direct hiring and reduce agency reliance.

Qualifications

• Senior TA leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing recruitment (industrial/engineering)
• Experience hiring both blue-collar and white-collar populations across production operatives to engineers
• Proven leadership of multi-site teams across regions
• Experience running executive search-style outreach for technical roles
• Credibility in the boardroom with comfort on factory floor
• Strong commercial awareness with track record of growing accounts
• Data-driven governance with SLAs, KPIs and performance reviews
• Willingness to travel regularly to UK sites (including flights)

Responsibilities

• Mobilisation & Delivery: establish embedded teams quickly and direct direct-hire models.
• Partnership Performance: own SLAs, KPIs and governance for client success.
• High-Volume Hiring: lead blue-collar recruitment via assessment centres, events, and talent pipelines.
• Tech & AI: collaborate with Centres of Excellence to maximise AI-powered recruitment tools.
