Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting an internal recruiter for a 6 month FTC with an immediate start. You will join a major parcel delivery company’s internal recruitment team, delivering high-volume UK-wide recruitment of drivers.

You must have proven experience leading recruitment campaigns and managing end-to-end processes for 7.5 tonne/HGV drivers, with strong ability to hit the ground running.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years high-volume driving recruitment experience including HGV/7.5t and transport compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns for HGV drivers.
• Coordinate end-to-end process with depot managers and internal teams.
• Hit the ground running to deliver high-volume recruitment across UK depots.

Job description

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for an internal recruiter for a 6 month FTC with an immediate start. You will be working for our client - one of the largest parcel delivery companies in the world, joining their internal recruitment team with a sole focus on delivering high-volume UK wide recruitment of drivers across multiple depots

You must have previous experience leading recruitment campaigns and controlling the end-to-end recruitment process for 7.5 tonne / HGV Drivers to be successful in your application, as this will be an extremely demanding role, and you will be required to hit the ground running immediately to make a positive impact.

Skills / Experience Required:-

• Minimum of 1-2 years high-volume driving recruitment experience, HGV / 7.5 Tonne, with a full understanding of candidate attraction and transport related compliance
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisation, with the ability to control and deliver high-volume recruitment demand (ideally UK wide, but this is not essential)
• Ability to manage both sides and control the process, - communicating well with internal colleagues and depot managers, as well as the pool of drivers

Pay / Hours / Location:-

• 6 month FTC: Talent Acquisition Co-ordinator
• 34,000 (pro-rata)
• Full Time Monday to Friday
• Hybrid role, office location Smethwick
