Kingdom Services Group is recruiting for an TRU Officer to support Tesco stores across the Leicester area. You will deliver intelligence-led, mobile retail security operations, patrol multiple sites, and respond rapidly to incidents in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires proven retail security experience, a valid SIA licence, and a full 5-year employment history, with driving licence preferred for this mobile position.

Responsibilities

• Mobile patrols across multiple Tesco stores in Leicester area.
• Lead retail loss prevention and deter theft.
• Detect covert and overt theft and respond to incidents.
• Liaise with store leadership, police and crime teams.
• Gather evidence, take statements and support prosecutions.
• Operate CCTV and targeted surveillance as required.
• Deescalate conflicts and manage emergency responses.

Pay

£16.14 per hour

Location

Leicester & surrounding areas (mobile role across Tesco stores)

Hours:

On average 40 - 50 hours per week, across Monday - Sunday.

Flexible, operationally driven shifts including:

06:00am - 2:00/3:00pm | 2:00pm - 11:00pm | 3:00pm - 11:00pm
Weekend availability essential

The Role

This is not a standard guarding position.

You’ll deliver intelligenceled, mobile retail security operations, deploying to highrisk and priority stores. Working overt and covert, you’ll tackle theft, reduce shrinkage, protect colleagues and customers, and respond rapidly to incidents in a fastpaced retail environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Mobile patrols across multiple retail sites
• Highimpact retail loss prevention operations
• Covert and overt theft detection
• Professional response to theft, ASB, and aggressive behaviour
• Lawful detention in line with legislation and company procedures
• Evidence gathering, statements, and prosecution support
• CCTV operation and targeted surveillance
• Liaison with police, store leadership, and crime teams
• Conflict management, deescalation, and emergency response

What You’ll Need

• Valid SIA Licence
• Proven retail security experience (essential)
• Strong understanding of retail loss prevention procedures
• Confident communication and sound decisionmaking
• Full 5year checkable employment history
• UK driving licence (preferred for this mobile role)

Mobile or supervisory retail security experience is highly desirable.
