Job summary

Kägwerks in Whiteley, UK, is seeking a MANET Systems Integration Engineer to design, integrate and demonstrate advanced tactical communication solutions for demanding environments.

You will combine MANET radios, IP networking and edge computing, work with customer requirements, and support pre-sales activities, trials and PoCs. Regular travel up to 30% is expected, with UK and international visits.

Qualifications

• Practical experience of MANET technology and tactical radio systems.
• Experience in systems engineering, C5ISR, network engineering or systems integration.
• Strong IP networking knowledge: TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, switching, VLANs, QoS, DHCP, DNS.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and scripting.
• Ability to work directly with customers and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design tactical communications and C5ISR solutions from requirements.
• Integrate Kägwerks tech with third‑party radios and sensors.
• Configure IP networks with routing, switching, VLANs, QoS.
• Deliver technical demonstrations, trials and PoCs.
• Support pre-sales activity and customer proposals.
• Diagnose hardware, software, RF and networking issues.
