Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd. seeks an experienced Communications Engineer to support MOD mission-critical telecoms across the UK. You will design, install, commission and provide ongoing support, with home-based work and frequent UK travel.

Candidates should have Land Mobile Radio or similar systems experience, RF infrastructure knowledge, and IP networking integration, plus the ability to operate in field or secure environments and engage with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with Land Mobile Radio or similar mission-critical systems.
• Installation and commissioning of professional communications systems.
• RF systems including repeaters, antennas, feeders and related infrastructure.
• Integration of communications equipment with IP networks.
• Fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving.
• Documentation of engineering and configuration details.
• Testing and acceptance of communications systems.
• Willingness to travel and work in field or secure environments.
• Customer-facing communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support design, installation, commissioning and ongoing support of mission-critical comms systems.
• Travel across the UK to MOD and customer locations as required.
• Produce engineering and configuration documentation.
• Work in operational, field-based or secure environments.
