Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst (Tableau Technical Lead) in London, offering hybrid working with in-office presence approximately once a month. You will own the Tableau environment, drive governance, and support cloud migration while enabling scalable, self-serve analytics across the business.

You will lead end-to-end Tableau development, define best practices, optimise performance, and collaborate with data engineering on architecture decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive end-to-end Tableau experience across desktop, prep and cloud.
• Proven leadership in Tableau environment within a business setting.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and data structures.
• Experience across reporting and data layers, not just front-end.
• Strong BI best practices: performance, usability, governance.
• Able to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Tableau development across Desktop, Prep and Cloud.
• Define and enforce best practices for dashboard design, data modelling and performance.
• Own BI governance frameworks, including data quality and reporting standards.
• Support and enable business users to develop self-service analytics.
• Write and optimise complex SQL across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Escalate and resolve complex BI and data-related issues.
