Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst (Tableau) in London to own a critical Tableau environment amid data transformation. You will shape BI strategy, set governance, and advance the analytics function as it migrates to a cloud-first architecture.

You will lead Tableau development, build scalable data sources, and drive best practices across the organization, enabling self-service analytics and robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong Tableau experience including dashboards and data sources.
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data modelling and governance.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end Tableau development across Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud.
• Designing and maintaining scalable data sources, semantic layers, and reporting solutions.
• Defining and embedding Tableau development best practices across the business.
• Building high-quality dashboards that deliver actionable business insights.
• Writing and optimising SQL across cloud and enterprise data environments.
• Supporting and enabling business users with self-service analytics capabilities.
• Owning BI governance, data quality frameworks, and reporting standards.
• Acting as the escalation point for complex BI and reporting challenges.
• Partnering with data engineering teams on architecture, modelling, and performance optimisation.
• Contributing to a major cloud migration programme and helping modernise the wider analytics ecosystem.
