Job summary

Harnham in London is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Tableau SME) to lead Tableau initiatives in a growing, cloud-first analytics environment. You will drive standards, governance, and high-impact reporting across the organisation, shaping data practices during a data transformation.

You will deliver end-to-end Tableau solutions, design scalable data sources, and collaborate with Data Engineers to optimise performance as the analytics function modernises.

Qualifications

• Strong Tableau expertise across dashboards, data sources, and Prep.
• Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions beyond reporting.
• Proficient SQL for data transformation and optimisation.
• Understanding of data modelling, governance, and BI best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud data platforms or analytics transformation programmes is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Tableau solutions across Desktop, Prep, and Cloud.
• Design scalable data sources, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks.
• Promote Tableau development best practices and standards.
• Build dashboards that provide actionable business insight.
• Write and optimise SQL across cloud and enterprise data environments.
• Enable self-service analytics for business users.
• Support BI governance and data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data architecture and performance.
• Contribute to cloud migration and analytics modernisation.
