Job summary

Pendle View Primary School in Colne is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 to work within the Physical Development Team. The role supports pupils with physical disabilities, working alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists to foster inclusive learning.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team in a vibrant, inclusive school and contribute to personalised learning environments that celebrate each pupil’s achievements.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children at a TA2b or above or equivalent in a special school or health setting.
• Experience of administrative work with a special school classroom or health setting.
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour and/or medical needs in a special school environment or health setting.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
• Join a specialist physical development team to support pupils’ development.
• Provide support for pupils with physical disabilities within a special school setting.
