Job summary

Egis, with a hybrid role based from our Warrington office, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support project managers through the full commercial lifecycle from concept to financial close. You will handle contract management under NEC3/NEC4 and occasional FIDIC contracts, ensuring cost control and value for money.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in T&D or related field.
• Self-starter capable of working remote from management.
• Experience on high voltage substation construction projects desirable.
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and MS Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Own car with full driving licence and willingness to travel for company business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
• Support project team in establishing commercial contracts and providing risk management guidance.
• Procurement activities including tendering and分析 for sub-contractors.
• Assist in Early Warnings, Compensation Events and PM communications.
• Cost assurance activities and reporting for multiple projects.
• Provide contract and risk management support in governance meetings.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets and forecasts.
