Job summary

Egis Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the Omnia Projects team in Warrington. You will support project managers with contract management, cost control and procurement activities across voltage projects aimed at decarbonising the UK energy sector.

In this role you’ll contribute to risk management, cost reporting and governance, ensuring payment applications are justified and aligned with budgets and client requirements. A field-based role with travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in T&D or related field.
  • Self-starter with ability to work remotely from management.
  • Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms of contract.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; good MS Outlook skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers with contract management activities and risk guidance.
  • Prepare and manage cost reporting and cashflow forecasts.
  • Assist in procurement, tender analysis and award recommendations.
  • Contribute to project governance and commercial decision making.
  • Monitor expenditure against budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC/FIDIC contracts and client policies.
  • Attend site and progress meetings to verify progress and payments.
  • Maintain accurate commercial and contract records.
