Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Systems Technician to support and maintain our portfolio of clinical systems, with a focus on SystmOne from a clinical perspective. You will handle complex incidents, configuration queries, and record-management tasks while training to support Hybrid Mail services.

Based at a local office with remote support, you will become the SME for Hybrid Mail and provide second-line guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience with SystmOne in testing, configuration or support capacity.
• Customer-facing service desk experience is desirable.
• Strong understanding of information governance and record-keeping for health data.

Responsibilities

• Daily use of ITSM software and MS Teams to manage support requests with detailed documentation.
• Develop a detailed Knowledge Base to support end users under guidance.
• Undertake routine configuration changes in clinical systems (letters, diary updates).
• Attend and contribute to team meetings and service improvement initiatives.
• Support end users by guiding them through tasks and pointing to training materials.
• Provide specialist support for record-management issues and liaise with the National Back Office as needed.
• Investigate system errors methodically and keep Knowledge Base content updated.
• Assist with major incidents, including end-user updates and escalation as required.
• Assist in testing new system functionality and summarise changes for the team.
• Contribute to configuration for major projects and support audit activities.
