Fire Alarm Service Engineer - Belfast

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer within our business team based in Belfast. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week and participate in an on-call rota.

What you will be doing

• Attend to maintenance calls (on-site and/or by telephone) as directed by team coordinators.
• Rectify faults on the first visit if within your control.
• Carry out a rolling programme of preventative maintenance visits.
• Collect and record site configuration information.
• Maintain stock levels of spares.
• Keep accurate and timely records.
• Provide out-of-hours cover on a rotating basis.
• Commission small projects as required.
• Ensure quality procedures are audited.
• Provide training to customers and colleagues as needed.
• Perform any additional tasks as required.

What we are looking for

• Experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems, ideally GENT base.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure paperwork is correctly completed and procedures are followed within deadlines.
• An enthusiastic team player capable of working under pressure and maintaining professionalism.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
• Five years of checkable employment history and right to work in the UK/EU without restrictions.
