Carbon 60, Inc. seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to join a major UK defence programme in Bristol Filton on site. The role focuses on developing and enhancing system performance models to inform decision making across the product lifecycle.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to modelling techniques and best practice. The position involves hands-on modelling using MATLAB/Simulink, with challenge-driven analysis and reporting to stakeholders, within an environment

Formación

• Experience developing models using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Background in systems engineering, modelling, simulation or performance analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work within a highly regulated engineering environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain performance models using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Conduct system-level modelling, simulation and analysis activities.
• Analyse system behaviour and performance against customer requirements.
• Support design reviews and provide evidence-based recommendations.
• Work closely with systems, software and hardware engineering teams.
• Produce technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support verification, validation and acceptance activities.
• Contribute to the development of modelling techniques and engineering best practice.
