Job summary

Carbon 60, Inc. in Bristol Filton onsite is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract. The role pays £85 per hour (£630 per day) Inside IR35, with extension likely.

You will develop and maintain performance models using MATLAB and Simulink, perform system-level modelling and analysis, and support design reviews with evidence-based recommendations, while collaborating with systems, software and hardware teams to produce technical reports presenting findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience developing models using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Background in systems engineering, modelling, simulation or performance analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance models using MATLAB and Simulink
• Conduct system-level modelling, simulation and analysis activities
• Analyse system behaviour and performance against customer requirements
• Support design reviews and provide evidence-based recommendations
• Work closely with systems, software and hardware engineering teams
• Produce technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Support verification, validation and acceptance activities
• Contribute to the development of modelling techniques and engineering best practice
