Job summary

Meritus is recruiting a Systems Performance Modelling Engineer for a 6-month contract based at Stevenage or Bristol. The role requires active SC Clearance and is inside IR35, with duties spanning the development of RF radar seeker models using MATLAB and Simulink.

The position is onsite with a 4-day compressed week option and occasional travel. You will produce models, auto-code, validate components against real data, and document all changes.

Qualifications

• Strong MATLAB and Simulink experience.
• Unit-level modelling for RF radar systems is essential.
• Experience converting algorithms into Simulink models is an advantage.
• Active SC Clearance is required to start.

Responsibilities

• Develop sophisticated models of RF radar seeker systems.
• Produce auto-code and validate models against real data.
• Integrate seeker models into wider dynamic reference models.
• Prepare technical reports documenting model changes and results.
