Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Simulation and Modelling Engineer to develop high-fidelity models using MATLAB and Simulink. You will work with systems teams to integrate models and validate designs before field deployment, refining models with real data and learning from senior engineers.

The role offers hybrid working with on-site presence 4–5 days per week and requires BPSS clearance after the offer stage. Salary up to £42,500 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree-level understanding of dynamic systems and/or mathematical modelling.
• Experience with modelling languages or programs.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as EWM or Git.
• Good communication skills and ability to discuss complex technical ideas with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate high-fidelity models using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Collaborate with systems teams to integrate models and identify design flaws early.
• Use real-life data to tune models to match the real world.
• Grow under senior engineers to broaden technical capabilities for larger projects.
