Job Description

We have an exciting vacancy for a Systems / Integration Engineer to join the Comms and Force Protection line of Business within Leonardo. The role involves the continued development and delivery of key integrated networked systems, as well as assisting with platform integration and testing.

This position can be based at either our Southampton or Basildon sites on a hybrid basis.

About The Role

This is a Network/Integration Engineer role, with opportunities to engage in other aspects of complex system of systems projects. The role supports long-term opportunities within the business and involves influencing and building consensus with a wide range of stakeholders.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating networked security systems for a key strategic product. Responsibilities include lab testing, documentation, system delivery, and integration onto platforms, ensuring full interoperability with other subsystems for customer delivery.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate experience in a similar role or relevant training and qualifications. The skills we seek include:

• IP Networking, routing, switching, firewalling
• Understanding of security disciplines
• Knowledge of the System Engineer lifecycle
