Job Description:

We have another exciting vacancy for a Systems / Integration Engineer to join Comms and Force Protection line of Business within Leonardo. Specifically responsible for the continued development and delivery of a key integrated networked systems and assist with platform integration and testing.

This role can be based at either our Southampton or Basildon sites on a hybrid basis.

About the Role:

This is a Network/ Integration Engineer role, with the opportunity to engage in other aspects of a complex system of systems project. This role will also support further longer-term opportunities within the business, and allow you to use your skills and abilities to influence and build consensus across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for completion of the design, development and integration of networked based security systems for a key strategic product.

The successful candidate will be required to complete the lab testing, documentation, delivery and integration of the system onto the platform. Once in the platform, full inter-operation with other Subsystems will need to be verified and validated for Customer delivery.

About You:

It would be beneficial if applicants could demonstrate experience in a similar role, or provide evidence of relevant training and qualifications.

The skills we are looking for are:

• IP Networking, router, switching, firewalling
• A good understanding of security disciplines
• Knowledge of the System Engineer life cycle.
