Job summary

Cloudflare, Inc. is seeking a senior engineer for the Browser Isolation team. You will work on a Chromium-based browser, contributing across distributed services written in Go, Rust, and TypeScript.

You’ll own features end-to-end, improve startup time, latency, and resource efficiency, and participate in on-call rotations after onboarding. Strong debugging and code-review skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in production-grade C++ with strong memory management.
• Solid Linux/UNIX fundamentals and system-level debugging experience.
• Experience building distributed services and understanding service-to-service communication.

Responsibilities

• Own well-scoped features from design to production and testing.
• Develop and maintain C++ code in Chromium-based browser; contribute in Go, Rust, TypeScript.
• Debug failures across browser processes, Linux hosts, and distributed services.
