Job summary

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a Systems and Process Accountant to join our growing Finance team at Silverstone. You will own system functionality, drive improvements, and ensure processes and controls scale with ambitious growth.

Working with Finance, Operations, IT and Engineering, you will design, test and embed changes, automate where possible, and document processes to support audit-ready controls and efficient financial operations across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience with finance systems, ideally in a systems-focused or process-improvement role.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for learning complex systems.
• Experience designing or auditing internal controls and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand system setup, configuration and maintenance as SME.
• Lead process improvements and embed best practice.
• Ensure system controls are strong and audit-ready.
• Own core financial processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, IT and Engineering to enhance capabilities.
• Drive automation and digitalisation to reduce manual work.
• Support documentation, training and change management for new features.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems and Process Accountant to join our growing Finance team in Silverstone. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening our finance systems, ensuring our processes are robust, efficient and built for scale. With the team expanding rapidly, this is a chance to make a tangible impact where no two days are the same. You will be owning system functionality, driving improvements, and ensuring that our processes and controls evolve in line with our ambitions. Working closely with Finance, Operations, and cross‑functional stakeholders, you’ll help ensure our systems work harder, smarter, and more intuitively for the whole team.

• Develop a deep understanding of our system setup, configuration and maintenance, becoming the go‑to subject matter expert
• Lead continuous improvement of finance processes and identifying gaps, designing solutions, and embedding best practice
• Ensure system controls are strong, scalable and aligned with internal audit standards, acting similarly to an internal auditor in assessing and strengthening control environments
• Own core financial processes, ensuring they run efficiently, consistently and in line with team policies
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT and Engineering to understand needs and enhance system capabilities
• Drive automation and digitalisation opportunities to get the system doing more and reducing manual work across the function
• Support process documentation, training and change management as new features or workflows are introduced

• Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post‑qualification experience
• Experience working with finance systems, ideally in a systems‑focused or process‑improvement role

• Experience reviewing, designing or auditing internal controls and financial processes
• Ability to translate system behaviour into clear recommendations and practical solutions
• Confident communicator who builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively across teams
• Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to a fast‑evolving environment
• A data‑driven approach, using evidence and insight to enhance processes and system performance
