Job summary

Reed Technology is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network and system infrastructures in Basingstoke. The role requires strong networking know-how, scripting capabilities, and hands-on Windows and Linux administration, including Microsoft cloud and workplace technologies.

You will administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems, support LAN infrastructure, manage routing protocols, automate tasks, and optimise the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong networking expertise and scripting capabilities.
• Hands-on Windows and Linux administration.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure AD.
• Exposure to automation/DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform and Git.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems.
• Design, implement, and support LAN infrastructure and network services.
• Manage routing protocols and traffic optimisation.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting and automation tools.
• Support and optimise the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and endpoint management.
• Collaborate on infrastructure and automation projects.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability across environments.
• Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
