Job summary

Reed Technology is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our Southampton team. The role focuses on monitoring IT service requests, troubleshooting, and supporting our Windows-based infrastructure and business apps.

You will provide on-site support, manage accounts and permissions, and contribute to ongoing system improvements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Windows servers, virtual environments, and storage, plus familiarity with applications like WinMan, DDM, and

Qualifications

Proven experience in a Systems Administration or IT infrastructure support role.
Hands-on experience supporting Windows-based server and endpoint environments.
Knowledge of server infrastructure, virtual environments and storage platforms.

Responsibilities

Monitor and respond to IT service requests logged via ServiceNow.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and systems issues; arrange replacement or repair of faulty equipment.
Provide on-site desktop and laptop support, imaging, deployment and lifecycle management.
Support core IT services including user accounts, access permissions, mobile devices and day-to-day endpoint administration.
Maintain and upgrade server infrastructure and related IT services.
Administer third-party business applications (WinMan, DDM, Sunrise).
Support leaver/on-boarding processes and ensure proper account/access management.
Contribute to system improvements through research and recommendations.
